Weight Loss and CBD OIL?!!!
Everyday variety of methods such as diets, cleanses, exercises and so on are suggested for weight loss. The most recent studies claim the possibility of supportive role that CBD may play in weight loss.
Human body contains EndoCannaBinoids which respond to different compounds in the body via CB receptors called CB1 and CB2.
CB1 is located mainly in the brain and CNS. CB2 exists throughout the body.
When there is an issue with weight and obesity, it is claimed that CB1 receptors are more concentrated in fatty tissues. Researchers believe that there is a link between obesity and active CB1 receptors.
Studies claim that CBD may assist body's own Cannabinoids to either block or activate the CB receptors which may be effective in weight loss or prevention of metabolic disorders by:
1-Maybe reducing the appetite. Often we have witnessed that Cannabis may stimulate the appetite in people who smoke it. This is because of the presence of THC or TetraHydroCannaBinol.
However, CBD does not have the same effect. THC activates CB1 receptors and therefore stimulates the appetite. Studies show that there are blocking agents in CBD without the THC that stop the activation of CB1 receptors and therefore, reduce the appetite.A separate study in 2012 claimed that CBD reduced appetite in rats but there are no direct evidences that can confirm the same effect in humans.
2-Another claim states that CBD can transform unhealthy fat into healthy fat that can support the body with burning calories. As we have witnessed unhealthy fat can increase the risk of many chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart and vascular diseases.
3-Other studies claim that CBD breaks down the fat and helps eliminating waste from the body and by changing bad fat cells into good fat cells.
Can CBD support the body with healing of metabolic disorders?
Once again studies claim that there is a link between obesity and other disorders such as high blood pressure and cholesterol, type II diabetes and more, partially due to over activation of CB receptors in the fat tissues of the body which increases the chance of obesity and therefore, other metabolic disorders. CBD can help block the CB1 receptors and as a result the increased possibility of reducing obesity may occur.
Very important reminder:
Just like any other weight loss protocol, CBD is supportive and complementary therapy, whether you add CBD or other supplements to your diet, you must remember that you still have to maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly. CBD or any other supplement is not a replacement for healthy diet and exercise.
Another important reminder:...
Our bodies are individual to us, although certain rules are applied in general however, the individuality and uniqueness of each one of us must be taken into consideration as a variable factor in tackling obesity and other disorders. There is NO MAGICAL WAY to address issues as such and there is certainly no such a thing as ONE FITS ALL. The uniqueness of our body's reaction to different supplements and medicines also must be taken into account when it comes to dosing.
A person with more body weight may need a different dose than a person who weighs less.
Also some people are more sensitive to CBD and other supplements, therefore, it is best to work with a professional and qualified practitioner.
CBD may interfere with physician prescribed medication and therefore, it is highly and strongly recommended that you MUST consult your physician before administering CBD or any supplement or diet.
