“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
– Dr. Jane Goodall
Paula Guilbeault-Roballo, Hom
As a holistic healthcare professional, Paula is committed to creating sustainable health solutions for her patients by integrating a variety of holistic health disciplines to ensure each patient’s health plan is as unique as they are.
She has a deep passion for sustainable natural health and has developed a specialization for women’s health, digestive balancing (IBS/SIBO) and working with individuals living with chronic pain and autoimmune conditions.
Paula is a dynamic teacher who has served on faculty at the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine; guest lectured at the Canadian College of Naturopaths and is a frequent guest speaker in the community. She is a registered member of the College of Homeopaths and several professional associations.
Holistic Nutrition is a natural approach to health that uses evidence-based techniques for diet, lifestyle and detoxification. Instead of focusing on just one aspect of the person, or taking a one size fits all methodology, holistic nutrition evaluates the complete health history, emotional state, lifestyle and habits of an individual to determine the root cause of their health issues.
Beyond just supplements, Paula utilizes a therapeutic approach strongly rooted in traditional diets, healing foods and restorative balancing to design individualized treatment plans and help her patients reach their health goals. Paula’s passion for inclusivity extends to providing a safe and body positive environment regardless of where someone is on their health journey.
A strong advocate for accessible healthy food, Paula regularly holds workshops on healthy eating and traditionally fermented foods.
Craniosacral Therapy (offered only when she is in the city)
Craniosacral therapy utilizes gentle touch and movements to induce deep relaxation, correct alignment, remove restrictions and restore balance to the body. Because of its gentle approach, Craniosacral therapy can safely be used by those living with chronic pain, infants and the elderly.
Despite its gentleness, Craniosacral therapy can produce a deep healing response in the body. It has a profound effect on the central nervous system making it an ideal treatment for recovering from old injuries, trauma, pain, headaches, TMJ issues, back pain and stress. Regular Craniosacral treatments maintain healthy organ function, alignment and boost health.
Paula has completed extensive training in bodywork to provide a well-rounded and adaptive treatment approach integrating techniques from traditional Craniosacral therapy, psychosomatic release, visceral manipulation, myofascial release, active release therapy and muscle energy technique.
